Stevenson University’s Fashion Design program will host its third annual student-run fashion show on Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m. in the Inscape Theatre on Stevenson’s Greenspring Campus, 1525 Greenspring Valley Road, Stevenson, MD 21153. Admission is $10. To reserve tickets call 443-352-4082.

This year’s production, “Final Cut,” features a broad and diverse mix of clothing reflecting whimsical children’s wear, tailored men’s wear, European textiles, and a variety of marketable and wearable styles for women. Each garment has been crafted and constructed using both hand and machine methods by Stevenson students in the Fashion Design program throughout the academic year. Students from both the Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising programs volunteer to assist in the show as models, stylists, and guest greeters.

“Final Cut,” is produced and directed by Fashion Design seniors Sherie Jones and Ruthie Edwards. The show will feature garments designed in fashion design classes as well as outfits that were created specifically for the “Io, Tu, e la Moda Italiana” exhibition.

“We are extremely proud of all our featured fashion design students,” said Leslie H. Simpson, Fashion Design Instructor. “The show is an opportunity for our students to display their design skills and creativity to a broad audience. We are especially excited to congratulate our Fashion Design program’s first graduating seniors. We look forward to seeing their successful futures in fashion.”
