Joel Klopcic Named Vice President of MAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

Stevenson men’s track and field junior JT Klopcic was selected to serve as the Vice President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) for the 2018-19 academic year. He will help represent over 7,000 student-athletes.

The newly elected Stevenson SAAC President, Klopcic will assist the MAC SAAC President and help improve student-athlete communication throughout the league as well as work to specialize MAC sportsmanship, operations, community involvement and student-athlete wellness.

Klopcic has been involved in Stevenson’s SAAC for all three of his years and was elected as President in February. While with SAAC, he has helped to plan and organize Stevenson’s Lift-A-Thon, Special Olympics Day and Division III Week. Klopcic attended the 2018 NCAA Convention and sits on the MAC Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

This year, Klopcic became the driving force behind Stevenson’s “Inside the Stable”, a video series presenting a Mustang student-athlete.
