Biochemistry sophomore, Chloe Seluchins applied for and was selected to attend the University of Florida Health Cancer Center Research Showcase on an expense paid trip. The program provides cancer research highlights by UF trainees, information on Ph.D. pathways and a career panel. Attendees are invited as special guests to the annual UF Health Cancer Center Research Showcase on Jan. 31, featuring more than 150 faculty and trainee research posters.
At the symposium, Chloe learned about graduate schools and careers in cancer research. She attended several symposia on epigenetics and cancer research. It was an amazing opportunity to further her knowledge and learn more about potential opportunities for her future. If you or your student is interested in applying for this opportunity next year, the applications are due in November.
