Credit for Prior Learning

Through Stevenson’s Credit for Prior Learning Program, undergraduate students can earn credit for what they have learned through their previous work, life, or military experiences. Through this program, students can reduce the amount of time required to graduate and benefit from significant savings on the total cost of earning their degree. Once accepted, students are assigned a Student Success Coach who will advise on which credit options might work best. Current Credit for Prior Learning options include the American Council on Education (ACE), College-Level Examination Process (CLEP), DSST, Departmental Assessment, Prior Learning portfolios, and StraighterLine. Students can use these credits to fulfill core, program, and elective requirements.
