Stevenson University Online is excited to announce its partnership with the Maryland Transportation Authority’s (MDTA) Career Development Program (CDP).
The Maryland Transportation Authority’s CDP provides tuition assistance for coursework toward college degrees, professional certifications, and individual courses approved by the Office of Human Resources and Workforce Development. This partnership provides a no-cost, direct bill option for MDTA employees. MDTA will be invoiced directly for up to 12 college credits a year, resulting in no costs being passed on to the employee.
To help ensure a pleasant and seamless education experience for its students, Stevenson will accept a maximum of 70 undergraduate transfer credits from regionally accredited community colleges and 90 undergraduate credits from regionally accredited four-year institutions.
This collaboration will enable MDTA employees to achieve their academic goals and realize their professional dreams. Jamie Hill, Business Development Associate, believes that “Stevenson’s partnership with the MDTA provides its employees with an invaluable opportunity to further their education or pursue a new career field. Stevenson is thrilled to support the MDTA’s new CDP and provide affordable and flexible online courses to full-time MDTA employees!”
In order for employees to receive tuition reimbursement from the MDTA and have direct billing setup with Stevenson, they will need to complete the MDTA’s CDP application to ensure they receive their tuition reimbursement and direct billing benefits.
