Teaching

Professor Rubeling is the Foundations course coordinator for the Art and Graphic Design Department. She has developed the curriculum for Fundamentals of Design I and II. These courses are taken by Fashion Design, Graphic Design, and Marketing majors. She also teaches the Graphic Design Capstone Research and Capstone courses.

Professor Rubeling also contributes to the Fashion Design Concept Development class and The School of Design Mill Agency.

Highlights

Professor Rubeling curates, exhibits, leads workshops, and presents papers on art and design topics nationally and internationally. Baltimore collaborations include , AIGA Baltimore, D Center Baltimore, and SoDA: Society of Design Arts Baltimore

Awards:

  • 2021 Dr. Rose Dawson Teacher of the Year awardee
  • 2016 Stevenson University School of Design warded Best In Concept and Best In Design Communication or the “2016 Made In America” design exhibition at the Carroll Mansion, Baltimore, MD.
