As National Novel Writing Month came to a close, the Stevenson University Library on Owings Mills teamed up with the Greenspring Review to bring a NaNoWriMo Come Write-In session to Stevenson students.

Write-In’s are events that occur across the world during the month of November for NaNoWriMo. They are held in local libraries, coffee shops, book shops, anywhere you can fit a bunch of writers with unruly imaginations. These events help writers get together and discuss their works with fellow authors and find new inspiration.

The Write-In session was a great success. We were able to socialize with each other to discuss our writing and bounce ideas off each other while enjoying hot chocolate and doughnuts. We also took turns reading out writing prompts and doing a little flash writing to get inspiration flowing.
