We are delighted to announce a School of Education Guilt Free Book Club for Onward: Cultivating Emotional Resilience in Educators. This book club is for current students, faculty, mentors, and alumni who want to join together in a nurturing community to focus on supporting one another.The book is described as an “actionable framework that gives you concrete steps toward rediscovering yourself, your energy, and your passion for teaching. You’ll learn how a simple shift in mindset can affect your outlook, and how taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally is one of the most important things you can do.”

What does Guilt Free mean?

Guilt-free means that you show up when you can – even if you haven’t read the chapter or missed a month. You are welcome to join us at any time!

WHEN and WHERE?

This book club will meet monthly for one hour virtually (Bluejeans) on Thursday evenings beginning June 29th.

Access to the book?

There is a free e-book located on the Stevenson Library’s homepage (Stevensonlibrary.org) for current students, faculty, and mentors. Simply use the OneSearch tool to locate your free access to the entire book! Search Onward: Cultivating Emotional Resilience in Educators. You will be prompted to sign into EBSCO (or register for free). You may need to download and install Adobe Digital Editions to download the PDF of book.
