Alumni who graduated from the School of Education returned to campus on Saturday, March 5, to participate in our first interview “boot camp” for senior interns.

The session began with a keynote presentation by Mr. Devon Bowles, second grade teacher at Randallstown Elementary School and one of our School Mentors. He drew from his experience to lay the groundwork for the interviewing process and posed authentic questions to the group as examples.

The group then moved to round table interview practice. The six alumni relocated to different rooms to serve as interviewers while the interns rotated to each room. Each alumnus asked a different question and provided feedback. The interns also received several resources with interview tips and sample questions.

In addition to the fabulous Mr. Bowles, we wish to thank Swear Ahmed ‘17, Jen Bratchie ‘21, Sally Edmondson ‘18, Maddie Lentino ‘21, Jocelyn Richards ‘20, and Lauren Speiser ‘15 for joining us on a weekend to offer this valuable learning opportunity for our graduates.
