To celebrate Women’s History Month, three Education students designed and decorated the entrance to the Education classroom. Val Paulina Quintanilla Carranza ’24, Kylah Hardy ’24, Jenna Coulbourne ’24 chose the theme, “Girls Who Run the World.” The door features quotes by such luminary women as Malala, Maya Angelou, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Sonia Sotomajor, and Amanda Gorman.

Students also created a display of children’s books called, “She Persisted.” The text set includes titles such as Herstory which highlights 50 women and girls who shook up the world, 50 Fearless Women who made American history, Little Dreamers about visionary women and girls around the world, The Girl Who Though in Pictures about Dr. Temple Grandin, You Matter about identity and self-worth, and She Persisted about 13 American women who changed the world. These books serve as resources for lessons during the month of March.
