Recent graduate, Ian Liyayi (Biochem ’18) presented his work with Dr. Tracey Mason in the spring 2018 semester at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students in Indianapolis earlier this month. Ian is currently enrolled in a yearlong research intensive, NIH funded post baccalaureate training program at the University of Georgia. He is also actively applying to Ph.D. programs and for an NIH graduate research fellowship, which he can use during graduate research.
