
We are pleased to announce that rising senior chemistry major Ashley Roberts was awarded the prestigious American Chemical Society Catalyst Scholarship for the 2026-2027 academic year. According to the ACS, the “Catalyst Scholarship is an education initiative designed to support undergraduate students pursuing chemistry or chemistry-related fields. This scholarship offers support to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need or hardship. This program provides $10,000 in funding, with the possibility of renewal in future years, to help students continue their academic journey.” Ashley is currently doing intensive summer research through Stevenson’s Summer Science Student Research Program (S3RP), and was recently admitted to the 4+1 BS to MFS program at Stevenson, and will begin taking select forensic graduate courses alongside her Chemistry major requirements in the upcoming fall semester.
