Recent Biochemistry graduate Ian Liyayi (BS’18) is pursuing a doctorate at UVa beginning this summer. Since graduation, Ian has been completing a post baccalaureate research education program as an NIH PREP scholar at the University of Georgia. His research experiences began with an NSF funded REU at the University of Michigan in the summer of 2017. Ian also completed a semester of independent research at Stevenson with Dr. Tracey Mason. Ian has applied to and was accepted to several universities for graduate study. Congratulations Ian!
