The Stevenson Biology Department would like to extend our warmest congratulations to biology alum Matt Bramble (‘10) on the successful defense of his thesis, “The Effects of Chromosomal Composition and Hormonal Influences on Shaping Sex Differences in the Developing Mammalian Brain!” Dr. Bramble graduates with his doctorate in Human Genetics from UCLA. Dr. Joe Matanoski (left) and Dr. Andy Kreutz (right), a former faculty member, attended the defense in support of Dr. Bramble (center). He was also recently awarded a Fogarty Global Health Fellowship and will spend much of the upcoming year in the Congo. Dr. Bramble will then continue his work at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC. Congratulations also for this enormous honor!
