She credits her capstone research experience with biology faculty member Dr. Wendy Kimber with helping her develop the cell culture skills that she uses in her work every day. Dixie is currently applying to doctoral programs in human genetics and would like to thank Dr. Kimber for all of the advice and motivation she provided Dixie in reaching her goals.
