Public Reception Oct. 20 in the New Academic Centers Exhibitions Hall

Stevenson University celebrates 20 years of art exhibitions this fall with the presentation of “SU20: Selections from the Stevenson University Permanent Art Collection,” on view through June 2, 2017, in the St. Paul Companies Pavilion on the Greenspring campus, 1525 Greenspring Valley Road, Stevenson, MD 21153, and in the Kevin J. Manning Academic Center on the Owings Mills North campus, 1 Ted Herget Way (11200 Gundry Lane), Owings Mills, MD 21117.

A public reception will be held on Thursday, Oct. 20, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Academic Center. These events are free and open to the public.

The visual arts at Stevenson are vital to the University and help to inspire and promote an engaged culture of creativity, innovation, and respect. Launched in 1997, after the construction of the Art Gallery on the Greenspring campus, the Stevenson University Exhibitions Program has hosted more than 175 exhibitions and grown to include four museum-quality gallery spaces across three campuses during the past two decades. In celebration of this 20th anniversary, Stevenson will showcase a variety of works from the University’s permanent art collection.

The Exhibitions Hall of the new Kevin J. Manning Academic Center, this fall, is Stevenson’s newest gallery space and will display works from Stevenson’s permanent art collection in conjunction with the 20th anniversary celebration. The Hall is located on the second floor of the Academic Center.
