SU Business Students Win 1st Place in Weinman Cup
School of Business students Maiya Lyons, Ricardo Facey, Courtney Swartz, Matt Resnik, and Lauren McDonough placed first in the Weinman Cup competition at Towson University, under the guidance of advisor Dr. Mark Arvisais.
The Weinman Cup is a rigorous competition open to select undergrad business schools and requires teams to solve a difficult and complex supply chain problem. The competition was created to provide students the opportunity to practice their business skills and interact with local business leaders. It’s hosted by Towson State University.
This year’s competition was done virtually, and the case problem was a supply chain problem featuring Pandora Jewelry, LLC.
