Stevenson University Men’s Lacrosse Team Honored at Maryland State House for 2013 D-III National Championship

Players and coaches from Stevenson University‘s 2013 Division III National Championship men’s lacrosse team were honored at The Maryland State House in Annapolis on Thursday, January 30.

First visiting the Maryland House of Delegates, the team was presented with a resolution by Speaker of the House Michael E. Busch. They were then recognized in the Maryland Senate. The team presented both Speaker Busch and Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr. with signed Stevenson jerseys.

Back in May, Stevenson won its first national championship by defeating RIT, 16-14, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
