Stevenson Student Records Time Lapse Video of Owings Mills Campus

Stevenson University freshman Brennan Taylor took advantage of a beautiful spring day to record a 14-hour time lapse video of the University’s Owings Mills Campus.

Taylor, a Business Information Systems major, planted a camera looking outward at Rockland Hall from his suite in Western Run Hall. What follows is the hustle-and-bustle of the average weekday at Stevenson — captured in just 19 seconds-worth of video.

“I just did it for fun,” Taylor said. “I had tried to do one on a nice day last semester, but something went wrong and it didn’t save. So, I’ve been waiting for a really nice day to try it again, and Monday was perfect.”

Stevenson University, known for its distinctive career focus, is the third-largest independent university in Maryland with more than 4,200 students pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, and adult bachelor’s programs at locations in Stevenson and Owings Mills.
