Stevenson Announces More Than $480,000 in Scholarship Gifts to Advance Student Success
Stevenson University has received more than $480,000 in new scholarship support from the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation and the France-Merrick Foundation. Through the generosity and vision of both organizations, more Stevenson students will be able to achieve their educational and career goals.

Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation
Stevenson recently received another gift from The Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation to support the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program for Middle-Income Students. This gift matches funds raised by the Stevenson community, bringing the scholarship’s total funding for the 2026-2027 academic year to nearly $570,000. As a result of this support, 50 incoming Stevenson students will receive scholarships through the program.
Since the program was launched in 2023, the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation has contributed more than $1.09 million in matching funds to expand scholarship opportunities for middle-income students and families. The Foundation has graciously committed to another year of matching support in 2026-2027.
France-Merrick Foundation
The France-Merrick Foundation has provided a $200,000 gift to establish the France-Merrick Baltimore City Scholarship. The scholarship will provide financial support to students from Baltimore City beginning in Fall 2026 and is renewable for up to four years.
One of Maryland’s largest private foundations, the France-Merrick Foundation invests in nonprofit organizations that strengthen communities throughout the state, with a particular focus on Baltimore City. The new scholarship reflects the Foundation’s longstanding commitment to providing greater opportunities for Baltimore City residents.
Since 1982, the France-Merrick Foundation has provided more than $1.8 million to support a variety of Stevenson initiatives, including the Philip A. Zaffere Library and endowing scholarships to support first-generation students.
Founded in 1947, Stevenson University today serves more than 3,700 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. The University offers a campus-based undergraduate experience on its 200-acre campus in Owings Mills, Maryland; graduate and professional degrees through Stevenson University Online; and a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology. For nearly 80 years, Stevenson has been committed to a mission and vision to meet the evolving needs of today’s college students and prepare them for success in tomorrow’s workforce.
