Stevenson University is excited to announce the expansion of the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program for Middle-Income Students. The program was created in December 2022 with an initial pledge of $250,000 in matching funds from the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation, Inc., a match Stevenson soon met. In light of the success of the fundraising campaign, the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation has announced it will increase its pledge and match up to $500,000 in gifts to expand the scholarship program.

The Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program for Middle-Income Students provides incoming Stevenson students with a $2,500 scholarship for each of their four years, for a total of $10,000. Students with a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and whose families earn between $75,000 and $150,000 per year are eligible for the scholarship.

Currently, 50 students in Stevenson’s Fall 2023 entering class will receive Rollins-Luetkemeyer Scholars Program scholarships. With the increased matching pledge from the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation, Stevenson aims to double the program’s impact and offer the scholarship to 100 students in the Fall 2024 entering class.

“We thank the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation for their generous commitment to our students’ educational and career aspirations,” said Elliot Hirshman, Stevenson University President. “We’re proud to offer this program and to partner with the Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation to create more opportunities for students of all backgrounds to experience the value of Stevenson’s career-focused and personalized education.”
