2026 Shapiro/Rouse Lecture Welcomes Bryan Corvera ’17, Manager of Advertising and Media for the Baltimore Ravens
Stevenson University’s 18th annual Shapiro/Rouse Lecture welcomes Bryan Corvera ’17, Manager of Advertising and Media for the Baltimore Ravens, to campus on Monday, October 5, from 2–3 p.m. The lecture will be held in the Philip A. Zaffere Library Event Space.
Corvera will present “From Brands to Business: My Journey in Advertising and Media,” a lecture drawing on insights from his career on how organizations use communication and strategic marketing to build brands, connect with audiences, and create meaningful experiences for fans and communities.
A 2017 Stevenson graduate who earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Communication, Corvera has built a career spanning professional sports, collegiate athletics, and higher education. Before joining the Ravens in 2023, he held athletics marketing and communication positions at the University of Maryland, the University of Akron, and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Through these experiences, he has developed a broad perspective on marketing, media, branding, and audience engagement.
The Shapiro/Rouse Lecture Series was established by Mr. and Mrs. Ron Shapiro in honor of Chip Rouse, former Department Chair and Associate Professor of Business Communication. Each year, the Department of Communication welcomes a prominent business leader to campus to share professional insights and experiences with the Stevenson community.
