Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics

As cyberattacks become more costly and complex, institutions everywhere face a two-front battle. They need specialists to safeguard critical systems from cyber threats and data breaches. They also need experts to investigate, assess, and remediate the effects of cybercrime after it occurs. And they need both yesterday.

Our Bachelor of Science prepares you to meet this need through a unique combination of cybersecurity education and hands-on training in digital forensics.

As a student, you’ll learn from accomplished faculty how to identify and combat cybercrime – all while gaining hands-on digital forensics skills. That’s not the only way our program helps you stand out. We are one of only 16 universities designated a National Center of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence (CDFAE) by the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3). We are also one of the few recognized as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency, which allows our students to apply for NSA scholarships and participate in CAE-CD exclusive recruiting and networking events.

Unlike other degree programs, ours integrates many of the digital forensics and investigative tools used by professionals in the field.

Upon completing the program, you’ll receive a diploma and two certificates of completion – Digital Forensics Examiner and Digital Media Collector – that can be exchanged for Department of Defense training course credit, allowing you to start working immediately as a recognized digital forensics practitioner. As you complete the coursework, you’ll also be able to sit in for CompTIA, EC Council, and other industry certifications, helping you advance your career faster and raising your earning potential.
