Associate to Bachelor’s (ATB) in Nursing – Wor-Wic
The ATB dual enrollment option is available to eligible Wor-Wic Community College students once they are accepted to the Wor-Wic Nursing program.
Admission is competitive and based on completed courses and grade point average (GPA). Students will be dual enrolled as nursing degree students at Wor-Wic Community College and Stevenson University (SU). Once the Associate of Science (A.S.) in Nursing degree is awarded at Wor-Wic, students must take and pass the nursing licensure exam (NCLEX-RN) and continue coursework at SU to complete the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nursing degree. Students must pass the NCLEX-RN before enrolling in SU’s NATB 424 clinical course, and a minimum of 30 completed credits will be required at SU to graduate with the B.S.
Wor-Wic courses will be held at the Wor-Wic Community College campus.
Two degrees will be awarded: A.S. in Nursing from Wor-Wic Community College and B.S. in Nursing from Stevenson University.
Advisors will be available from both Wor-Wic and SU.
Enrollment Options:
2.0 Option: ATB students may begin Stevenson University’s Bachelor’s in Nursing courses after completion of their first nursing year at Wor-Wic. SU courses will be held fully online (with the exception of the 45-hour clinical requirement).
The baccalaureate and master’s degree programs in nursing at Stevenson University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

**Required prior to starting ATB program
Students must successfully pass the NCLEX-RN prior to taking Stevenson’s NATB 424 – Health in the Community course.
A part of NURS 424 Health in the Community is a 45-hour clinical experience that provides registered nurse students an opportunity to immerse themselves in community-focused healthcare. Theoretical concepts will be applied in a mentored clinical experience where public or community health concerns can be identified. The setting will be selected under the guidance of the faculty. Students will explore nursing care provided to groups within the community based on nursing research and using the nursing process, community assessment, goal setting and community planning.
- Acceptance into Wor-Wic Nursing program (selective process based on courses completed, GPA, and TEAS score)
- Successful completion of Anatomy and Physiology I & II, Microbiology and English Composition prior to your acceptance into the ATB program
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
