On February 18, 2016, Stevenson University unveiled an 11-piece sculpture garden situated within the Knott Hall courtyard on the Greenspring Campus. Stevenson acquired the sculptures through a generous donation by Baltimore residents and art enthusiasts Michael and Susan Guarnieri.

On Tuesday, March 1, 2016, members of Stevenson University’s admissions team surprised New Town High School senior Jaleah Sydnor with the University’s Presidential Fellowship. A full-tuition scholarship, the Presidential Fellowship is awarded to 10 incoming Stevenson freshmen who will enrich the University community in the classroom, on the athletic fields, and on campus.

After expanding to its third campus, Owings Mills North, in 2013, Stevenson will officially open its new 200,000-square-foot Academic Center in summer 2016 in advance of the 2016-2017 school year. A total of 280 students received their degrees at Stevenson University’s Winter Commencement, Monday, Dec. 14, in the University’s Greenspring Gymnasium. The December 2015 graduating class—the largest winter commencement in school history—is comprised of 168 traditional undergraduate bachelor’s, 48 adult undergraduate bachelor’s, and 64 graduate master’s students.

The field of biology is constantly advancing and is always in need of well-prepared science professionals. The Bachelor of Science program in Biology at Stevenson will give you the knowledge and skills to chart your course for a career in the biological sciences, and you can choose specialized electives to focus on your fields of interest.

During the first semester of their freshman year, students participate in a team project to help them learn about their personal career direction, values, skills, and interests relative to Stevenson's Career Architecture (SM) process. Each team, mentored by faculty members, creates a distinctive LEGO sculpture display during a major University forum, describing the career elements used to visualize the future via LEGOs. Teams present their work verbally to a panel of judges.

Legal Studies students can combine law classes with a series of designated liberal arts courses that develop critical thinking, writing, and analytical skills. Stevenson University has a dedicated pre-law advisor within the paralegal faculty who is an attorney and can guide students in LSAT preparation and law school admissions procedures. An upper-level law elective is available to help prepare students for the Law School Admissions Test.
