Stevenson University Online’s Nursing Programs
Registered nurses enrolled in Stevenson’s Master’s in Nursing online program will complete a series of core courses before beginning work in one of three areas of concentration: Nursing Education, Nursing Leadership/Management, or Population-Based Care Coordination. Our Nursing master’s program is designed for working nurses with a BSN who are ready to expand their career horizons. 100% of graduates are employed full-time.
Stevenson’s online RN to BS Nursing program builds on the expertise current registered nurses have earned in their existing careers and focuses on developing their competencies in areas such as critical thinking, communication, evidence-based decision making, and scholarly inquiry. Ninety-nine percent of Stevenson’s RN to BS graduates are employed full-time.
For working registered nurses, earning a master’s degree in nursing can open up new career opportunities and advance their professional growth. Stevenson University Online’s RN to MS in Nursing option is designed with working adults in mind, offering the resources they need to excel in their field and earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree. Students in our RN to MS in Nursing first earn their BSN and have the option to move forward in our MSN program. Students can choose from three concentrations based on their personal interests and career aspirations: Nursing Education, Nursing Leadership/Management, or Population-Based Care Coordination.
Courses in all programs are taught by practicing experts and combine theory with applied skills and expertise to expand their skill-sets. Using the case study method and other problem-solving integrative methodologies, the programs provide opportunities for students to participate in interdisciplinary team-based activities.
