Stevenson University Online’s Community-Based Education & Leadership student Stephen Bowley explains how the program has enhanced his role as a Community School Coordinator.

This has been an experience unlike any other in my life…I am learning and growing in my craft and while the coursework has been time consuming and often challenging, I have grown so much in my short time as a Stevenson University student…The projects and assignments given are meaningful and relevant to the actual work you either are currently doing now or hope to in the near future…I have some of the better professors I have had in my time in education and they push us to be a better version of ourselves even through your struggles outside of school. I can really appreciate the human element in them and their own transparency with me. When I am finished with this degree I can see myself being a better professional, a smarter person, and aptly equipped to handle the rigors of community based education by being an effective leader able to help neighborhoods flourish.

We cordially invite you to join us for Stevenson University Online’s Open House on Saturday, July 14 from 8 – 11 a.m. to learn more about our Community-Based Education & Leadership master’s and post-baccalaureate certificate programs. Visit to speak with current students and the Associate Dean of Graduate Education to gain insight into the programs.
