Dean’s Symposium:
Mental Health Among Healthcare Workers
Mar. 10, 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. EST
Dial-in: +1.408.419.1715
Meeting Code: 875 400 363
Healthcare workers (HCWs) are providing essential care to the public during these challenging times, but at what cost? Increased anxiety, depression, and stress top the list of severe psychological symptoms HCWs are experiencing. There’s concern that leadership may be overlooking the growing impact, and the NIH recommends managers and policymakers adopt more supportive and protective measures.
Our panel of healthcare and nursing experts from Stevenson University, Sheppard Pratt Hospital, and Maryland Addiction Recovery Center will examine the state of healthcare workers and the healthcare delivery system, and potential outcomes within and outside of the industry.
