Mental Health Symposium

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
LOCATION
Online
Explore the impact current events have on the mental health of frontline workers in healthcare.
Healthcare workers (HCWs) are providing essential care to the public during these challenging times, but at what cost? Increased anxiety, depression, and stress top the list of severe psychological symptoms HCWs are experiencing. There’s concern that leadership may be overlooking the growing impact, and the NIH recommends managers and policymakers adopt more supportive and protective measures. This symposium will examine the state of healthcare workers and the healthcare delivery system, and potential outcomes within and outside of the industry.
Our panel of healthcare and nursing experts from Stevenson University, Sheppard Pratt Hospital, and Maryland Addiction Recovery Center will lead an engaging and informative discussion you will want to be a part of.
Registration is limited, RSVP today to secure your spot.
Hosted by Dr. Ali Eskandarian, Dean, Stevenson University Online
A link to the Dean’s Symposium will be made available prior to the event.
