Stevenson University currently offers the following holidays. Each year the dates that the holidays will be officially observed will be designated and announced.
These are paid holidays for full-time staff. Part-time regular staff are eligible for the paid holiday if the holiday falls on a day the part-time regular staff member is regularly scheduled to work. If the staff member is required to work on one of the above holidays, another day may be substituted. The substituted day must be approved in advance by the staff member’s supervisor and must be taken in the same pay period. Non-exempt employees who are required to work on holidays are paid at a time-and-a-half rate. Holidays occurring during vacation leave are not counted as part of vacation leave.
