Benefits

Stevenson University offers comprehensive health and welfare benefits including medical, dental, life and disability for all full-time employees. Detailed information and summary plan descriptions are available through Human Resources and the SUNow Portal. Information is provided to new employees at monthly new-hire benefits meetings and each year at Open Enrollment. Questions regarding any of these benefits may be directed to Human Resources at hr@stevenson.edu.

The terms and conditions of these and all benefits may be changed at any time without prior notice. Furthermore, where there is a discrepancy between the description of these benefits, and the plan documents or summary plan descriptions, the plan documents will control.

Retirement Program

The University provides a 403(b) benefit opportunity to full-time and part-time employees. A description of this benefit is included in the Summary Plan Description and benefits guide located on the portal.

COBRA

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1986 (COBRA) requires that covered employers who sponsor group health plans offer employees and their families the opportunity for a temporary extension of health coverage at group rates in certain instances where coverage under the plan would otherwise end. Life Insurance and Disability

The University provides life insurance and disability coverage to full-time employees. A description of this benefit is included in the benefits guide.
