Mark your calendar for rewarding career events throughout the semester focusing on career exploration and professional preparation.
We host one major Career & Internship Fair each Fall and Spring semester. This is a great opportunity for students to connect with government, non-profit, and for-profit organizations. We encourage all students to attend to gain experience networking with potential employers. Additionally, we host smaller industry or discipline-focused events such as, Criminal Justice & Forensics Career Fair, Nursing Career Fair, Psychology & Human Services Career Fair, etc.
Often coordinated with specific academic programs, these include a panel discussion and networking opportunities.
Join us in the Office of Career Services for informal weekly information sessions on various topics including Handshake 101, Career Fair Prep/Networking, Crafting Your Resume, Interview Skills, and more!
Employers come to our offices to interview you! Watch our calendar or log into Handshake to see who’s coming and apply.
Employers come to the lobby of the Howard S. Brown School of Business between 9-11 a.m. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and learn about an employer in a casual environment. And, they bring breakfast!
Set-up in prominent, high-traffic areas informally network with employers and learn about internship and job opportunities they may have.
