The Stevenson Career Connection Center has adapted our event offerings to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. All events and On-Campus Recruiting will be virtual. (Careers on the Quad will not be virtual). Mark your calendar so you don’t miss these rewarding career events focused on career exploration and professional preparation.
We will be hosting three virtual, industry specific, two-hour long events per semester. Hosted in BlueJeans, these events will give our students a great opportunity to connect with employers specific to industries related to their major.
Using our videoconferencing platform, BlueJeans, employers host a 30-minute session with students. This is designed to be more of an informal conversation then at a career fair. The students can, as the title states, ask anything from what the employer studied in college, how they ended up in the field they’re in, interview tips, etc.
From September 15 through October 29 watch for our new popup event, Careers on the Quad. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (weather permitting) we will host up to three employers each day. Watch our social media for more information.
Join us online for informal weekly information sessions on various topics including Using Online Career Resources, Crafting Your Resume, BYOB (Build Your Own Brand), Job Search/Networking, Online Presences & Etiquette, Interview Skills, and more!
