Professor Inna Alesina invited toy inventors from the educational toy company "Number Alive!".Dr. Rebecca Klemm and Stephan Sparta shared their design experience and offered students advice on making educational toys in two GDES 210 classes. The students are in the process of making educational toys that they are developing with children from the local preKs. The conversation and the feedback from industry experts were helpful to students to move their concepts forward.

Professor Mychailyszyn’s Typography class experienced a blast in the past with a typesetting workshop. With the help of letterpress Instructor Miller, students had the experience of printing on a letterpress and setting metal type similar to how newspapers were printed during the 1800’s.
