FMI Awards 2022

The annual FMI Awards––popularly known simply as “The FMIs”––are Stevenson’s answer to the Oscars! The 2022 show will take place live in our School of Design Soundstage on Sunday, April 10, at 7pm. Since attendance is limited for remaining COVID-related restrictions (and a sign-up link has been sent out by email to students), we invite any who cannot attend in person to join us on our BlueJeans livestream

So please watch, virtually or live, as we screen the films made by Stevenson students over the past academic year, with prizes given for best acting, directing, screenwriting, cinematography, editing, documentary and … best picture. The entire glorious affair is organized and managed by Stevenson’s FMI Club. This year's event is once again sponsored by Blackmagic Design, and presented as part of Stevenson University's ArtsAlive! program. Check out last year's movies on our Vimeo page.

Review 11

This is our eleventh overall episode and the fifth of the 2021-2022 academic year. Tune in to see what FMI Department Chair Chris Reed and FMI Sophomore/Junior Devin Maldonado and Sophomore Ian Whisner think of the 2022 Oscar-Nominated Live Action Shorts (the winner will be announced at the March 27 Academy Awards) and Mothering Sunday (in limited release from Sony Pictures Classics starting March 25).
