Date: Feb 2021

Review Show 4

In our fourth show (and first of the spring), we bring in two new student reviewers. Tune in to see what FMI Department Chair Chris Reed, FMI Senior Max Loelius and FMI Junior Marilyn Herbst think of the new films Minari (released February 12 by A24), Nomadland (released February 19 by Searchlight Pictures) and Night of the Kings (released February 26 by Neon). You can find the show here, or by clicking on the image, above.

Aibel

Hollywood screenwriter Jonathan Aibel is our Spring 2021 (virtual) artist-in-residence. He is an award-winning writer and producer who has worked on shows and films such as King of the HillMonsters vs. AliensTrolls and Trolls: World Tour. He won an Annie Award for Writing in a Feature Production in 2008 for Kung Fu Panda (and wrote the two sequels, as well, with script partner Glenn Berger). On March 3 and March 4, Mr. Aibel will visit a few classes via video-conferencing, and then on Thursday, March 4, at 6pm, he will present Kung Pu Panda and participate in a Q&A, afterwards. FMI tour

Covid got you down? Wishing you could visit? Well, classes are in session, for those who have signed up to attend in person, but some of you may be attending virtually, or may wish to see what we look like, in case you want to apply to our program or have applied but have been unable to come and say hi. Not to worry: check out our virtual tour! And we hope to see you soon and in the actual flesh.
