I had the pleasure of interviewing Leah Aronhime, who is the newest addition to the Fashion Design Program teaching the First Year Fashion Design Seminar (FDES 100) and Garment Construction Techniques (FDES 101) courses. Her creative background stems from her graduating FIT in New York City, owning her own children’s wear line called Galette, and doing freelance on the side. Her teaching methods bring great excitement to fashion students at Stevenson University. Incoming freshmen majoring in fashion design take FDES 100 located in the Academic Center in our Owings Mills North campus. This brand new building which houses the School of Design turned out “amazing” according to Ms. Aronhime.
