Before moving back to Maryland, I served eight years in the U.S. Navy with my family. I thought that was a busy life, but it really was much calmer compared to being a full-time student with a family. Even though now that I am out of the military and spending more time with my children, it seems there is never enough time in the day to take care of them and do school work.

My day starts at 4 a.m. I make breakfast for everyone, get myself together for the day, pack the baby’s bag and my school bag. By 5:30 a.m. I wake the older kids up to get ready for school. Depending on my class schedule, I leave at different times to drop the older kids at school and then drop off the younger ones at daycare. I then go to class. By the time I get home, I am so tired, but the day is not finished because dinner must be prepared. After dinner, I get my younger kids ready for bed and after that I can get some homework done. It may sound crazy and most days it is. I just love being a mom, and I love attending school and getting ready to venture into the fashion world.
