On November 4, 2015, Stevenson University released its fall issue of THIS. If you are wondering what THIS is, it is a literary and media journal published online by Stevenson students. Not only are all the submissions written by the students themselves, the students also run the magazine in its entirety. The students read the submissions, edit them, and publish them all onto this website.
The fall issue of THIS has seen a tremendous amount of success through its submissions. There are a total of forty writings currently on the website and THIS accepts rolling submissions to be published throughout the entire semester.
The release brought together not only the English Department community, but all students who enjoy to read and write. THIS holds anything from a humorous open letter about roadside oddities to a scary story that would be told around a campfire on late fall nights. Everyone that came out to the release got a chance to read their own work or a peer’s work that led to laughing, smiling, and having a good time bonding over the beauty of writing and the thought process one puts into their work.
