The School of Education welcomes back the Class of 2017! Sixty-two interns have been placed in thirteen Professional Development Schools in three local school systems (Baltimore County, Carroll County, and Howard County) for their senior year.

In this year’s class, twenty-three interns are in Early Childhood Education, thirty-one in Elementary Education, six in Middle School Education (English/Language Arts and Social Studies), and two in Middle School Education (Math and Science).

Interns will spend two full days each week in their internship classrooms during the fall semester, and five full days a week in the spring semester. Faculty members serve as liaisons between Stevenson University and the schools, observing in classrooms and mentoring the interns in their final year of professional development. We are excited to have them return and look forward to participating in their success!
