For the 2014 Lego Challenge, first year Human Services students created an ambitious sculpture representing career architecture as a bridge on their professional journey. The students were, Amanda Tran, Kendra Lyle, Julia Hamlett, Brenna Lough, and Shai Fenwick.

The Stevenson University Human Services Department hosts the 2013 National Organization for Human Services (NOHS) annual conference in Baltimore at the Pier 5 Hotel. Four students who won the Student Professional Development Award attend along with faculty. Prof. Lauri Weiner coordinated the conference and Stevenson University was one of the sponsors.
