The Human Service Club participated in the Out of The Darkness suicide prevention walk in October at the Inner Harbor. This annual event raises awareness of suicide and depression and raises money for needed research and programs to help prevent suicide.
The Human Service Club made corsages and boutonnieres for the senior prom for the residents at Brightview Assisted Living. In total, they made 30 boutonnieres and 70 corsages.
The Human Service Club, as well as the First Year Seminar students for Counseling & Human Services, worked together to create calming bottles during Mustangs Make a Difference Day. The bottles were donated to the Wellness Center in hope of students finding calming, healthy ways to manage their stress.
