Several  chemistry and biochemistry students were recognized at the end of the year student awards ceremony. Academic excellence was shared by two students with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Honors were earned by three students, the award for service to the department was bestowed, and the graduating members of the chemistry honor society Gamma Sigma Epsilon were recognized.

                             Kait Beardsley

Each year the Maryland Section of the American Chemical Society honors students from our local colleges and universities. This year's Stevenson recipient is Kait Beardsley. She was recognized at the SOS awards ceremony, but was presented her award at the Maryland Section Student Awards Ceremony on Sunday April 11, 2021. Friends, family and department members were able to join the virtual ceremony to celebrate with Kait.  Congrats, Kait on your award, and thank you for your dedication to chemistry!
