Intelligent Pick 2022

The Master's in Forensic Science and Master's in Crime Scene Investigation are popular programs from the School of the Sciences and SU Online; both train students from all over the United States, due to its completely online format.  It was recognized in Intelligent.com's 2022 College Rankings issue as its number one "Intelligent" pick for a Master in Crime Scene Investigation based on attributes such as being a non-profit and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Universities. It also considered flexibility, program strength, student readiness, cost and student engagement. The program earned the top score in 2021 for Forensic Science, an indication of the quality of both programs, now housed in the School of the Science's Department of Chemistry. See the full story here.

Congratulations, Justin from all of us in the Chemistry Department!

Brittney Rollison

Alum Brittney Rollison (formerly Bryant)  (BS' 13/MS '14) has a had a lot to celebrate! She began working at A2LA as an accreditation officer aftere earning her Chemistry degree and Master's of Science in Forensic Science at Stevenson.  In 2021 she became the program manager specifically for Forensic Laboratory Accreditation. This made her the perfect instructor for Quality Assurance and Quality Control in the Forensic Science graduate program as she really knows the ins and outs of what it takes to ensure that laboratories are performing their best work. Brittney began teaching this course in Summer 2021. Brittney was also married in 2021 and welcomed her first child, Ezekiel, in September.  Congratulations, Brittney, we are celebrating with you!
