Biochemistry junior Alicia Greene spent the summer at the Nathan Schnaper Summer Intern Program (NSIP) in Cancer Research at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She worked under the direction of UM faculty member, Dr. Arnob Banerjee, studying T-cells. She had an amazing summer working on her project, “STAT5 Activation and ATM Expression in T-cell Lines” and plans to use all the information, skills and experience she gained as she continues towards her career goal towards becoming a physician.
