The Chemistry Department wished warm congratulations to our 16 chemistry and biochemistry graduates at the May Commencement exercise on Friday. Students and faculty gathered right before the ceremony for a departmental graduation picture. Our students have bright futures ahead of them: some have jobs in industry and some are continuing their education in pharmacy school and graduate school in forensic science and chemistry. Faculty wished the students well in the words of Henry David Thoreau:
“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.”
