Chemistry Advisory Board member, Jim Damewood, Ph.D, Business Liaison and Principal Research Toxicologist for Haskell Global Centers for Health and Environmental Sciences, was the guest speaker at the School of the Sciences’ annual Dell Lecture. His presentation, “A Chemist’s Perspective on Safety by Design,” was well received by a large audience. At the event, Chemistry junior, Abdallah Malik NaaNaa, was awarded the Dell Scholarship. This scholarship, endowed by Mr. and Mrs. Sam Dell, is awarded to a current junior in the School of the Sciences who exhibits a strong work ethic, exemplary teamwork, and uncompromising integrity.
