Biochemistry junior Nicole Heil is excited to be participating in Stevenson’s Summer Science Scholars Research Program (S3RP). Students are chosen for this special summer program based on their academic record and letters of recommendation from faculty. Nicole is working with Dr. Neal Miller who does research in astronomy. Nicole is taking data from galaxies that emit xrays and imaging the data to find intermediate black holes. Nicole has had a great experience this summer learning both about a new scientific field and about how research is done!
