Congratulations to Business Communication 2014 grad Travis Douglas, who stopped by the office to let us know he has accepted a job as an IT recruiter with Vision Technology Services, a company that "provides IT talent and project management services to help world-class companies lead," according to the website. Travis' strong interpersonal skills, coupled with his leadership abilities, helped him start along this career path. Here he is shown on the right during his internship next to his mentor, Jeff Dudley, at Corrigan Sports.

Faculty in the department of Business Communication who teach Public Speaking will meet at 6 p.m. on August 5 for dinner and conversation about the course. This yearly meeting allows new faculty to meet the those who have been teaching at Stevenson, and gives all the chance to share teaching tips and speaking suggestions.
The dinner meeting always marks the start of the fall semester as faculty conclude work on syllabi and activities for the upcoming term.
Here, three BizComm faculty members -- Dr. Deric Greene, Dr. Heather Harris, and Ms. Stephanie Verni -- prepare for a presentation.
Another Advanced Intercultural Communication class will include spring break travel abroad, as Dr. Deric Greene and Professor Christine Noya journey to Puerto Rico in 2015. Spaces in the class are atill available, and a payment plan should make the trip affordable for all Business Communicatino students. Interested? Contact Dr. Greene at email@example.com
