BizComm grad Whitney Pryor relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, after graduation to begin a career as a recruiter. Now she works for AccountSource & American Personnel, a full-service staffing firm that has provided administrative and professional support services for over 33 years. The company specializes in administrative professionals, accounting and financial professionals, and allied health, IT and nursing professionals.

New student registration for students entering the School of Design will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015, from 2-5 p.m. on the Greenspring campus. The primary focus of the program is advising and registration, in addition to highlighting key student services, according to Terra Hall, director of the First-Year Experience at Stevenson University.

On that day, students will work in advising sessions from 3:15- 5 p.m., after which they will register and receive their spring schedules.

All business communication transfer students will be paired with one faculty member in the department and one senior for additional advising assistance through the semester.

This spring's 44 businesss communication interns will present information about their internships on April 28, 2015, in the semi-annual departmental poster session. The event will be held in the St. Paul's Companies Pavilion from 4-6 p.m. All are invited to attend, and all business communication majors must attend at least one poster session.

Inside Lacrosse has named senior BizComm Tony Rossi as a Preseason All-American second team-member in its 2015 Face-Off Yearbook.

Rossi was a USILA Third Team All-American last year and finished fourth on the team in goals (36), assists (22) and points (58) and has 62 goals, 40 assists and 102 points in 43 career games, according to

BizComm alum Cari Cramer Pierce, whose previous careers included being the principal at Cari Pierce Freelance Writing & Consulting, as well as stints at the Baltimore Sun and the Carroll County Times, has reinvented her career to become a health coach and personal trainer as principal at Flip Your Dog LLC.

Cari is a Certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise. She's also a Suspension Training Level I Trainer, TRX, and a Kettlebell Level I Trainer, KFIT USA.

She writes, "So after a long career as a marketing consultant, helping companies figure out what they're about and communicating that, I'm now turning my attention to helping people figure out their individual paths to happier, healthier living."
