The Business Communication department held their second "Lunch Lessons" of the fall semester on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Current students and faculty welcomed back alums Cari Cramer Pierce and Crissy Fabiszak, who chatted about their involvement at Stevenson, past and present careers, and offered advice for young professionals. Cari owns Flip Your Dog, a personal training and health coaching company, and Crissy serves as the director of student activities at CCBC Dundalk.
The Event Planning & Publicity class (CM265) has spent the semester thus far planning an event to take place during Homecoming week. On Sunday, Oct. 25, from 1-3 p.m., faculty, staff and alumni are invited to bring their families to "Mustang Monster University," where there will be face painting, cookie decorating and other events for the whole family to enjoy. Our BizComm students have been hard at work in their committees to ensure the event is a success and are hoping for a great turnout! To RSVP, please contact Brittany Miller by Friday, Oct. 23.
To prepare for upcoming spring registration, BizComm faculty have scheduled mandatory advising sessions. All students within the major are required to attend one advising session before they can register on WebXpress. First-year students are exempt from these sessions as they are advised during their seminar class time. Dates and times are as follows:
